DESCRIPTION:
The Minnesota State Survey (MSS) is an omnibus phone survey. It allows numerous clients to purchase one or more questions on a statewide telephone survey conducted every fall. A combination of cell phones and landlines are called to help ensure a representative sample of Minnesotans are included in data collection and the report. The objectives are to obtain useful and technically sound information for researchers and public policy decision-makers about the characteristics, attitudes, and behaviors of Minnesota residents.
RESULTS:
The 2017 Minnesota State Survey was our thirty-fourth annual omnibus survey of adults, age 18 and over, who reside in Minnesota. OMS conducted 800 telephone interviews between October 2017 and January 2018 using computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) software and professionally trained call center interviewing staff. OMS provided a written report to all participating clients.
