Fall 2008 Teaching Enrichment Series: Making the New Student Ratings of Teaching (SRTs) Work for You
Student ratings of teaching can be used to improve student learning and document teaching success. Through a series of three seminars, we invite faculty and instructors to examine the benefits of regularly gathering and analyzing student feedback. Sessions will address how to use early feedback to refine a course and how to use SRT data to document teaching effectiveness.
Walk-ins welcome, but pre-registration is encouraged. Light food and drinks will be provided. Each seminar is repeated three times at different locations and times of day, and is designed to be a stand-alone event.
Making the New Student Ratings of Teaching (SRTs) Work for You took place September 23rd-25th. To arrange for this seminar to be held in your department at no charge, call 612-625-3041. (Minimum group size is 4.)
