Published in 2001, the Iowa Tests of Educational Development (ITED) Form A comprise a battery of achievement measures developed for Grades 9 through 12. Parallel to Forms K, L, and M the ITED Form A tests were designed to measure the long-term goals of secondary education the skills that educated adults apply in their daily lives.

Form A continues ITED's long and rich tradition of assessing students' analytical and evaluative skills. The tests are appropriate for all high school students, regardless of the particular courses they are taking or curriculum they are following.
