
The Office for Student Affairs expects students at the University of Minnesota to participate in experiences both inside and outside of the classroom which allows them to develop and demonstrate skills and characteristics for success and citizenship during their college years and beyond. This philosophy led to the creation of Student Development Outcomes.
Students have opportunities to develop these skills and characteristics through employment in University departments, participation in activities and organizations on campus, and by utilizing University services that supply students with the resources they need to develop.
