History

The Office of Measurement Services dates back to 1928 when it arose through a natural expansion for assessment support. It was initiated through the Minnesota Statewide Testing Program (MSTP) operated by the University of Minnesota.

Since then, OMS has continued to provide assessment support to MSTP and has also established itself as an important contributor to the advancement of the University of Minnesota's overall mission. Specializing in survey research and assessment, OMS has built a reputable image as being a passionate provider of comprehensive solutions for both the University and outside communities for more than 75 years.
